Hours of Operation:
Mondays and Fridays from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.
Location:
Please park in the Juliana Drive parking lot and enter the hospital’s main entrance. Proceed to the Diagnostic Imaging Registration Desk (to the right of the Information Desk) to receive further instructions.

Accessing this Service:
Your healthcare provider must submit a referral to the Interventional Pain Management Program at Woodstock Hospital. Please bring your Ontario Health card and a list of your current medications to your appointment, please arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to complete any registration and forms. If you require a translator, please ensure to bring one with you to your appointment.

About this Service:
Woodstock Hospital’s Interventional Pain Management Program is designed to address the unique needs of patients suffering from chronic pain. It offers a targeted interventional approach to complement the patient’s treatment plan. We use evidence-based procedures to enhance diagnostic accuracy and deliver targeted treatment under fluoroscopic and ultrasound guidance.

The Interventional Pain Management Program is committed to delivering compassionate, people-centred care. Our team is dedicated to working with patients who have exhausted conservative treatments and are seeking advanced options to manage their pain.

Our program is equipped to handle a wide range of chronic pain conditions, including but not limited to:

  • Spinal pain
  • Non-spinal pain
  • Joint pain (e.g., hip, knee, shoulder)
  • Chronic migraines (with a prior diagnosis of chronic headaches)

We offer comprehensive interventional pain management services tailored to each patient’s needs. These include:

  • Facet Injections: Targeting specific joints in the spine to relieve pain.
  • Selective Nerve Root Blocks: Aimed at identifying the specific source of nerve pain.
  • Epidural Steroid Injections: Reducing inflammation around spinal nerves.
  • Sacroiliac Joint Injections: Treating pain originating from the sacroiliac joint.
  • Joint Injections: For pain in major joints such as the hip, knee, and shoulder.
