Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging

Our Commitment to Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging

Woodstock Hospital is dedicated to ensuring everyone who walks through our doors feels valued, respected, and cared for. We believe that by embracing and celebrating the unique perspectives and experiences of each individual, we can offer a truly personalized and compassionate approach to patient care.

Our commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging also extends to our workplace. Our employees, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or socioeconomic status, are welcomed and valued members of our team. A diverse and inclusive team enriches our organization, enhances our ability to meet the needs of our patients, and fosters a collaborative and innovative workplace culture.

To support these values, we have established the Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (EDIB) Committee. This committee is dedicated to developing and implementing initiatives and training programs that promote a culture of inclusivity and respect. We are excited to share our initiatives and progress with you and look forward to continuing to build a healthcare environment where everyone feels they belong.
